Allah has made all living creatures out of water...people require water for almost everything in their life such as agriculture, constraction, transportation  and  for cooling and heating...but not all water caries the same value and significant...Muslims prfer zamzam water as something revered and unique... they crave this mysterious liquid and love to drink it whenever they can...and for those who manage to go to hajj they return home carrying it for thousand of miles as a prized possession to gove to their familes and friends as a special gift...

all traditions are agree that Allah created zamzam well to provide Hajar, wife of Prophet Ibrahim a.s and her baby Prophet Ismail a.s with water at hot and dry valley there were in...under the command of Allah's, Prophet Ibrahim a.s had left his wife and their infant son..in desperate search for water, Hajar ran out seven times back and forth in scorching heat between two of hills safa and marwa to provide water for Ismail a.s, who was dying of thirsty..Allah, His Mercy, sent Angel Gabriel, who scraped the ground causing the spring to appear...the name of zamzam originates from the phrase of zome zome, meaning 'stop flowing'...zamzam water is not sweet but rather slightly salty...the area around the well, which was later converted to a well, becames  resting place for caravans and eventually grew into trading city of Macca...the well of zamzam is located within holy Mosque of Masjidil Haram at about 20 m east of Ka'ba...the well is 35 m deep and topped by an elegant dome...

in 1973 and 1989, great international specialist chemist company carried out very accurate chemical analysis of zamzam water...the results were amazing, because it was found out that zamzam water was absolutely free from all kind of germs and viruses that can cause water contamination... in general, water is considered as mineral and, therefore sells best if the rate of mineral therein is from 150 mg/litre to 350 mg/litre...as for zamzam, the rates of mineral is 2000 mg/litre...the most remarkable mineral in zamzam water are calcium, sodium, pottasium and magnesium among others...zamzam water is considered as the most richest all water in this world in calcium...the rates of calcium in zamzam water is 200 mg/litre...modern scientific researches has shown that heart and artery disease is lower in those who drink zamzam water as mineral water... water is considered as mineral and digestive if contained more than 250 mg/litre of bi-carbonates...the most famous mineral water in this world is from spring of ivians at france stated the rates of bi-carbonates is 357 mg/litre...as for zamzam, the rates of bi-carbonates is 366 mg/litre...medical scientist say that zamzam water useful for treatment a lot of diseases such as rheumatism, crhonic diarrhea, hyper-acidity of stomach and indigestion omong others...as Prophet said zamzam water is 'cure for illness'...
